6 iron into green and went in the hole from 3 foot away
Sweet tee shot,one bounce and ball drop into the hole, not a bad shot for an 81 year old
hit my 5 iron to the top of the slope you can't see the hole from the tee, the ball ran down the slope into the hole, witnessed by my 2 playing partners. Joy
5 iron hit and watched it bounce once and roll into the pin
Hit a lovely 6 iron into the wind - straight for once. Landed and rolled up to the hole. could tell how close. As we started off from the tee, a big cheer from the next fairway as it dropped! lost the ball on the next shot…. Expensive round!!
Amazing feeling
Played an easy 7 iron with a touch of draw, 2 bounces and in it went 👍
3rd Hole in 1
It was a 5 iron that did the trick, the 5th at Gosforth is slightly blind and we all thought the ball may have gone over the back once we could not see it!!
The 12 th hole is my favourite par 3 on the course. Played a great the wood shot to the green and watched the ball drop in the hole.

I hit my 7 iron and the ball bounced around 3yards short of the hole and rolled in! I usually put my ball in the pond on the left side of the green!😂
Joined club last year and to achieve my first hole in one was a fantastic expierence

Hole in 1 on 17th Builth Wells.
138 yards to the island green, solid 9 iron straight at the flag. it checked and then rolled. straight in. completing a great round to finish 1 over gross.
one bounce & in!!
Hit 4 iron to ensure I didn’t catch the front bunker, it was on line with the pin all the way. pitched 6 feet short and rolled in
Hole in 1
it was our club championship, I’d played 35 holes very badly, as I stood on the 18th tee I just wanted to finish the round and have a beer, I hit my 8 iron quite nicely and the ball was on target for a change, I saw it bounce once then roll and disappear, I thought it had gone behind the hole (my eyesight isn’t that great anymore) but my two playing partners were jumping up and down and cheering, I was stunned as this was my first hole in one and I still thought it had missed, but when we got to the green and I saw it actually was in the hole I was overjoyed.
