Great hole in 1 was a 5 iron it bounced and landed straight into the hole

using my go to hybrid club I knew it was a solid strike so picked up my tee straight away. when I looked back up I could start see the ball and assumed it was near to the flag. when I got to the green and couldn’t find the ball that’s when I realised it was on the hole

saved a bad day

I was playing in a seniors stapleford competition. I made a good strike on a hole that is tree lined each side and to my amazement the ball went directly down the hole

Seniors August Stableford competition using a 9 iron on the 122 yard 9th hole

Senior Competition

I used a 9 iron over the trees in front of the green, the northerly wind was coming from the right. My ball landed about 8 feet in front of the pin then rolled into the hole. I have been playing golf for 51 years, this is my first ever hole in one.

arrived at the 12th and was disappointed to see the tee markers were right over to the left of the tee. this meant the trees running down the left come in to play. so I decided to play a low punch shot with a 6 iron to keep it under the tree branches. it worked perfect and bounced just to the right of the left green side bunker run up the green and dropped into the hole.

I used a 7 wood and the ball hit before the green and it ran passed the bunker into the hole

used 8 iron

Slightly uphill. landed front of green and disappeared from sight as rolled away!

8 iron, landed 6 feet before the hole, soft landing, rolled forward, dropped in.
