Hit 7 iron to up hill par 3

As I played the 7th during the mid week medal. I never thought I would get a hole in one. I'm happy to just get it safely on the green. The hole is actually quite a challenge. Even though its only 120yards. it's a very small target area to sim at and about 60yards down hill. My shot was taking aim at the largest part of the green, with a small amount of fade. It carried over the flag, and spun back to the hole. Which dropped in for my first hole in one

this is my 5th hole in one in the last 5 months 1 in a friendly match and 4 in competitions ive played golf for 35 years and never had one till 5 months ago

6 hybrid

Following weeks of improving my fitness combined with lessons from our club professional Ihit a great 4 iron on the 2nd hole to the centre of the green, I looked away knowing it was good to hear my pals and the group in front letting me know it had gone in the hole for my second hole in one.

At the young age of 10, this was my first ever hole in one! I was playing in the Prestwick St.Nicholas Junior Open. My Granda McCusker was walking round with me and was able to share this experience with me. I was so excited and am so lucky. Many golfers never achieve this in their lifetime, so I feel very privileged.

6 iron

Hit a 7 Iron, to a nasty front pin position, directly behind a bunker. You could not see the actual hole due to the high lip of the bunker. Ball fight looked great in the air, but I lost sight of it and thought it landed in the bunker. When I got down to the green, the ball wasn’t in the bunker, so assumed it hit the downslope and shot into the right green side bunker. No joy there also, so one of my playing partners told me to check the hole. As I approached I could see a pitch mark about 6 ft from the hole, and then, there it was, ball in the front of the hole, directly inline with the pin and pitch mark. Interesting I already came within inches to having a hole in one on the 2nd hole, same day, and was joking with my normal playing partner in the group ahead, whilst on the course, that I nearly had to buy the drinks. Clearly spoke too soon!!

My first ever and it was a great shot, straight in the hole.
