Played in the Wedneday Competiton (20/10/2021) at Seascale G C. 10th Hole Par 3 142 yards, flag just behind the right hand bunker also beck on the right is the beck running fast due to the rain fall. Hit a nice 8 iron drifting towards the flag then we heard the ball hit the flag stick. My playing partners turned to me and said it's in the hole !. I went to the high ground to the right of the tee and could not see a ball on the green. It coundn't be in the hole could it ?. On arriving at the green no ball to be seen when looking in the hole happy days. No pitch mark slam dunk stright in the hole.
I was playing in the presidents cup competition. It was a nearest to the pin competition on that hole as well. It was a 130 yards off the whites choice of club 8 iron. Very good day!

1st one after 30 years trying
4 iron with a wind into the face,tee is perched about 20m above the level of the hole. hit it sweet and it flyed all the way, hit the flagstick half way up and dropped straight in the hole. magic!
first season at WLGC and had HIO during Autumn challenge round 4. lost comp though 🤣
achieved a hole in one on the 17th hole at the Abbey Hill Golf course, Seniors competition
Found old sleeve of DT Solo balls in the garage from my captain's year in 2016. Used my 'Gentlemans Persuader' 7 wood, one bounce, rolled in. Old golfer, old balls, perfect harmony!
hit a good 7 iron into green and had the fortune to hole the tee shot, over the moon

Playing in a singles medal competition 3 days before my birthday, we reached a 147 yard par 3 and I took out my 8 iron and hit one pure down the middle. watching the ball hit the green directly in front of the flag it took one small bounce and dropped straight in the hole for my first ever hole in one!
