I scored a hole in one on Tuesday 26 October 2021 on the 6th hole at Towneley Golf Club

First ever hole in one and shot a 67

swinging good all morning, flag was front right, I had to land it just on the green and hopefully 1 bounce to stop. I didn't see it go in but I heard it hit the flag and hoped. And there it was settled in the bottom of the cup great feeling here's to many more

Men’s monthly medal

I was playing in our Medal Winners Trophy board competition, at the time sat at 5 over after having a triple bogey on 7. The 15th is a short par 3 where there's a big change in elevation so you can't see the bottom of the flag. My playing partners had hit their shots (one of which was tracking on line) and then I followed. Taking out my Apex Callaway AW I struck it pure but pushed it out right not getting my usual draw. Luckily there's a bank to the right of the green which goes up to the 16th tee box. My ball hit the bank and shot left dissappearing out of sight. Breathing a sigh of relief we wandered up though I stopped to chat to a friend and my playing partners continued. A minute or so later I heard cheering, looking up I assumed that the other guy had got the hole in one. But then they started calling me. After realising it was I that had got the hole in one I rushed up to see my Callaway Triple Track ball sat at the bottom of the cup.

Straight at the pin - two little hops and a little roll and then it was in!!!

6i into the par3 5th hole at Stanton on the Wolds. Tee shot was played short of the green to roll up to a front pin position on the typically fast Stanton greens… and into the hole!

Playing a club competition I had a hole on one using pitching wedge on hole 3

Playing the midweek Stableford competition with a friend and a golf professional from the club pro shop. I hit a great tee shot on the second hole and was happy with it landing on the green. I turned to put my club back in the bag. I thought my friend was joking when he said it went in. I was amazed when I walked up and found it in the hole.

I scored my first hole in one at the 206 yard par 3 2nd on Saturday 21st August 2021. I tee’d off at 07:50 with Rob Cousins and Kev Mula. My final score was 79. The hole was into the breeze and I hit a Ping G425 3 wood and Callaway Chrome Soft Ball.
