My first ever and it was a great shot, straight in the hole.

first good shot of the day

9 iron 140 yards

Played the front nine in a very poor 47, due mainly to a 10 at the daunting par 3 5th hole. Back 9 of 33 with a 1 at 11th, birdie 2 at 12th was my best ever medal back 9 at Glencorse

The last board competition of the season at Cooden Beach Golf Club

Hole in One on the 6th hole, Greetham Valley Lakes course. 9 iron, still wind, clean strike, 2 inches from the flag at the front, spun right and dropped right in.

8 iron

Easy 6 iron

Gripped half way down a 6 iron, never left the flag. couple of hops and in she went. half the course knew as our cheers were a little loud!

I was playing in the monthly medal with an 8-30am tee.It was wet and there was light rain. The 3rd was 135 yds off the whites which I would normally take a 9 iron but with the conditions ,went up to an 8 iron.an hit it fairly easily. It was a great decision as I hit it perfectly. When it hit the green,my playing partner said he thought it had gone in but I wasn’t going to get to excited until I got to the green and checked the hole. When I picked the ball out of the hole it was a wonderful feeling. If I never get another one I can go to my grave a very happy man!

8 iron, never hit it better, 2nd hole in one on this hole

Hole in one on 5th hole at Whickham Golf Club, I hit a 5 wood, distance was 200 yards into the breeze, playing partner was Jimmy Purvis.

hi all I hit a 7 iron on the 10th at Carnwath

ok

3rd hole-in-one but 1st in a competition.

I hit a 6 iron low under the wind. The ball pitched 6 foot short of the hole and dropped in.

First hole in one after 40 years of trying

Easy 7 iron, didn’t see it go in!

hit a wonderful 9iron onto green bounced a checked then spin into the hole

It was a really windy day but flag was front of green! Took an 8 iron but the green is blind and when got to the green, I couldn’t see it. checked the hole and it was in the cup! we all squealed with shock and elation!

135 yd shot from elevated Tee to a green over a pond. Ball struck with pitching wedge landed on the front apron and rolled 10ft or so to the awaiting hole and disappeared. Great consternation by the onlooking 3 ball ensued!

Brutal day in strong wind and rain. Lovely 8 iron to about 6 foot and it just rolled in!

2nd hole in one , full six iron .

This was my first hole in one in a competition
