the 7th at Townmoor is always a tricky hole, there is a high hedge that runs all along the tee box which protects you from the wind, even on windless days you always find that the wind is present when you hit a low iron in the air to the green which has a massive effect on your ball. I teed off first, my ball was straight at the pin, however the pin position was located at the first 1/4 of the green which is protected by a bunker, my ball landed just after the bunker and that is where I lost sight of it. the bunker has a high shoulder which blinds you vision of the first part of the green. my friend Teed off second, again his shit was on the same line as my shot. the other two guys didn’t hit the green. as we walked to the green we noticed only one ball was there, which was my friends, I suspected, but didn’t want to say it out loud that my ball was an ace. I nervously looked in the cup and there she was. the feeling was fantastic, albeit, on reflection I was a little disappointed that I didn’t see the ball go in the cup from the tee box. my friend putted out for a birdie only to lose the hole… lol

I took a 22 degree rescue club with the pin at the back of the green. we heard a click and knew it had gone in.

played a 9 iron off a red tee over the pond, landed on the green one small bounce and it rolled into the hole 1K4B160

Was a particular un special round of golf in the mid-week competition. hole 16 at hillside I hit a tight draw 7 iron it took one bounce and slammed in for my second hole in one

Great 9 iron shot which always looked ‘all over the hole’. Great view of hole dropping in the hole.

my first hole in one at the age of 74 being playing for 30 years had a great day

The course was very dry with a helping breeze, hit a good 9 iron and watched it pitch short,travel across the green and disappear down the hole. Delighted!!

My hole in one was at the 127 yard Par 3 13th hole which is an elevated pin position. one the day it was wind against and I played an easy 6 iron to get the height and distance. I landed the ball about fifteen feet from the hole and watched it role straight at the hole and in.

Good to get the hole In one. Great to win the competition with my partner Stuart Drew.

After shooting a great round with my playing partner, I started to hit a couple of bogeys but approaching the 17th, almost a blind shot to the pin, the number was perfect and I struck a sweet 9i, the line was good and spectators clapped once the ball landed, I thought it was just close until they tried to make gestures that it had dropped. Saved my round and more importantly gave me my first hole in one!

SGL Medal 15, partnered by Dot Reid. Used a 4 iron into a headwind. Achieved my best ever gross score of 72 matching the par of the course. Birdied the previous par 5 hole and was a foot away from a second hole in one at the 11th.

8 iron, 165 yards, 2 bounces and dropped in dead weight

playing in a medal competition and playing well had scored 20 points on the first 8 holes and then hit a good t shot on 9 with a 5 wood onto the green and rolled in witnessed by some players who had just t’d off on the 10th

Well struck 4 iron, landed middle of green bounced up slope and rolled into the hole

hole 4 in the Jubilee Rose Bowl competition,I teed off from the top of the.quarry over the bunker and onto the green, after 2 bounces the ball rolled into the hole

650 am me and ross gibson and leedham set out and we got 4th tee par measures 168 on the scope takes 7 iron out hits it 1,2,3rd bounce in the hole cheering and high fives

Pitching wedge pitched 10 feet short of pin, 2nd bounce next to hole then popped in

Slam dunked. Never bounced and landed straight in the hole
