Playing with Clarkson Fulton in the monthly medal I hit a 4 rescue to achieve my hole in one.
Unfortunately as the tee is below the hole I was not able to see I had achieved a hole in one until I arrived on the green.
I am absolutely delighted to have achieved my first Holeinone at The Caversham. Thankfully it was the nearest the pin shot as well. ;-)
I was so please just to get the ball on the green, but was very shocked when we arrived in the green and it was nowhere to be seen, the pin was in a position that we couldn't see the hole from the tee box, I joked it must be in the hole! what a lovely surprise when it was!! couldn't stop smiling for the next 6 holes!!

It only took 30 odd years 😂
Rescue club used
Hit a four wood just left of the hole and the ball rolled round off the bank into the hole
My 3rd hole in one but first at my home course
white medal competition on hole 4 using rescue club straight to hole no deviation
Hit a 9 iron into a 143 yard par 3 in a stableford competition and it pitched within 2 feet then checked on second bounce with back spin and went in
6iron rescue with a high draw
hit the ball slightly to the right, hit the green side bunker edge, which kicked it left, rolled onto green and down the hole
A driver off the tea !
Nice clean straight 7 iron, bounced just before the green and rolled in.
when I arrived at the 13th hole only the top of the flag was on View. I pulled out the 7 iron and picked the perfect line. I had to walk to the green to realise the ball had gone in. At this stage my playing partners were running round shouting “Hole in One!” This was a great feeling
Punched 7 iron
Club was 7 iron my first in medal competition.
never left the hole
