First hole in one

A beautifully struck 6 iron with a baby fade was always standing a chance of going in. The pin tucked back right meant it had the best chance as the green is sunken and cannot be seen from the tee. Approached the green and it could not be seen..... It could only be in one place, the cup. Get in!

A 9 iron straight into the cup on the fly! Slam dunk!

First HIO playing monthly Stableford in a 2 ball, playing partner was on the green I hit an 8 iron which started to go left it landed to the left of the pin and in front of a bunker, it hit the ground and came back right and then took another bounce onto the green and in the hole with a very satisfying plop. Excitment ruined the next hole but came in 3rd on count back with 41pts and a cut of 0.9

3 Wood, wind strong into off the right, great strike, unfortunately didn't see it go in

During a wet and windy Ladies Autumn Meeting, hit my shot and was astonished to see it go in the hole!!!

playing in a 3 ball in seniors with Steve Todd & Mick Johnson and I hit a 7 wood straight onto the green, and unfortunately only Steve saw it go in. I searched around the edge of the perimeter of the green and then Steve said " it's in the hole " and there it was

Playing in weekend medal competition played pitching wedge to 16th par 3 on wet Misty day and scored first ever hole in one, after over fifty years of playing.

I hit a pitching wedge off of the tees on the 14th hole and it landed next to the pin and when i looked down to collect my tee from the floor and stood up again the ball had rolled into the hole! This made me finish my round on 45pts and a hanicap change from 22.5 to 19.8

using an iron 8, I played my ball to the apron and rolled into the hole.

Clean struck 8 iron, two bounces and in the hole. First hole in one in 40 plus years, all as single handicap golfer.
