blind par 3 210 yards 4 iron didnt know it was in until i saw the group on the next tee cheering

Hole in one on the par 3 17th at Sandyhills GC.

1st hole in one

A wind assisted wedge that bounced once in the fringe and straight into the hole. Had been playing fairly average to this point!!

A 25 degree rescue hit high in the air with a little bit of draw , landed 3 feet from the hole, bounced once then straight into the hole. Beautiful!!

Blind tee shot celebrated by the 4 ball in front who had called us through

hit 3 wood into wind had one bounce and hit the flag stick really hard and managed to go in the hole

Said farewell to Prince Philip by giving a minute silence, then teed off and sunk my six iron.

Great shot

A sweet struck 9 iron with 2 bounces and a roll.

stood on the tee I said if I’m already buying a round I may as well get another ace. I hit the perfect 6 iron and in it went.

I thought it was wind against till I got to the tee and on the tee the wind changed so I changed club and the rest is history.

using a driver into the wind

hole in one in monthly medal

good day for golf with no wind for a change. 5 iron landed just short of the flag, one bounce and in.

I was last in the tee off with 3 players. I used 8 irons and I felt I’ve hit the right spot. Then the ball land on the green and went downhill cos we can see the flag but not the hole. 3 players say to me that’s good shot and possibly hole in 1. They walked up in front of me and suddenly they say yes!!! I told them rubbish and then I couldn’t believe my eyes that my ball is in the hole! I’m very pleased and of course, it’s my 1st time hole in 1!! I felt good and even, I came 1st in this competition as out of 20 players! I’ll never forget that!

I called the shot before I hit it. great day!

Hit a 7 iron always looking good and one of my playing partners called for it to go in! Seeing it disappear into the hole was great and suitable covid safe fist bumps followed the cheers!

I was taking part in the April Monthly Medal & Thornber Cup 2 at Burnley Golf Club, Lancashire on Saturday 17th April 2021. The yardage was 129 and slightly up hill to a front pin location. I used a 9 iron that pitched around 12 inches in front of the hole. The ball struck the flag before finishing in the hole for my 1st ever hole in one!

my first at my home club after 40 years of trying. very pleased...

I used a 4-iron. The ball landed short as intended and I knew it would finish in the middle of the green so went to pick up my tee when my playing partner shouted that it had gone in the hole.
