Standing on the tee with a 5 iron, small wind blowing in our faces. Great hit bonce just before the green and rolls right in the middle of the cup.

A nine iron to a raised green, I heard it clatter the pin and hoped it wouldn't have ricocheted too far from the hole. On getting to the green I could only see two balls, thought I better check the green side bunker before I checked the hole just in case. Fortunately it must have gone straight into the cup so all good.

my first hole in 1, after playing for 6 years

hole in 1

1

High draw, one bounce, in the hole

6 iron. My 1st hole in one after 44 years of playing golf!

clear weather, a bit of wind. shot an 8 Iron witha nice draw towards the elevated 17 green. One bounce and rolled right into the cup.

hole in one

A 5 iron shot that landed just short of the green, then rolled on and into the hole.

I hit a 9 iron on to the green in to the hole unfortunately because the green is approx 100 feet above the Tee you cannot see the ball go into the hole all 4 players hit good tee shots onto the green and it was only when we got onto the green and could only see 3 balls lying on the green when one of my playing partners walked over to the hole and then told me the ball was in the hole

scored hole in one on 16/5/2021

just got cut from 4 to 1.9 lowest I’ve ever been and this is my 7th hole in one I had a hole in one 12 months ago to the day

Entered Gannochie Shield club competition playing off back tees. selected my 3 metal and happy with the strike bent down to get my tee then saw it bounce into bank at front of green and watched it roll up the green and disappear. I was convinced that I had my hole in 1 but as none of my playing partners were sure waited to celebrate my success when we got to the green.

Wedge which pitched 3 footbehind the pin then spun back into the hole

9 iron downwind never saw ball go in.

Hit my driver towards the green and got the angle right for it to roll up the slope between two green side bunkers which usually catch the ball. It continued to roll towards the pin which was close to the front of the green then it suddenly disappeared! My playing partners and I thought it had gone into a slight dip but when we got there it was actually in the hole. Totally shocked!

I am 64 years old and this is my 2nd career hole in one. My first hole in one was achieved some 25 years ago, on the same hole, on the same course. The green for hole no.9 at Rossendale Golf Club is somewhat elevated above the tee location and as such I have never personally witnessed the extreme elation and pleasure of seeing either my two hole in ones.

Playing in the Laing trophy qualifier on Sunday 16th May. And eight iron into the par-3 13th at Hexham golf club

5 Wood one bounce and in

6 iron on par3 6th hole at seaton Carew golf club

hole in one

6 iron 156 yards to hole. Into headwind one bounce & into hole.

After receiving a lesson from Sandy the club pro I put his advice into practice and struck a 6 iron with a slight draw. Pin yardage was 167 yards and it drop over the front bunker and was unsighted from there until our group walked to the hole to realise my ball wasn’t on the green. There was a feeling it might of gone in as the ball was nowhere to be seen at the back. I then looked on the club to pick out the new ball I was trialing a Titelist 1 tour speed with my trademark fish symbol I draw on my balls. This was then followed by a picture taken and a few laps of honour around the green.
