My first ever hole in one in a competition - and it was a decent shot, so not a complete fluke. Delighted, and it helped me come third in the competition.
On 10th February 2022 during a club stableford competition I managed a hole in one at the 15th. The club used was an eight iron and the day was bright and clear.

Hit driver 187 yards on eight hole at Staverton Park
Iron shot on perfect line hit green and rolled in
56° wedge straight over the quarry, 1 bounce then span right and dropped straight in the hole.

followed the pin all the way, 2 bounces and dropped in the hole
155 yard par 3 18th hole at Leasowe golf club downwind ended up hitting a 52-degree wedge ball landed 6ft before the hole released up and straight in. carded a 29 stroke 6 under back 9 to win the comp.
I hit a 7 wood into a the green with a slight cut on the flight, the ball landed just on the green, and then rolled at dead weight straight into the cup.
During a club competition at Bowood PGA Golf Course on 19 Mar 2022, I made a hole in one at the 17th hole.
arrived on 18th not playing that well and hit a driver across the lake. against the wind. drifted in from left to right and disappeared in the hole

Hit a 3 wood at the long par 3 but, although it looked to be really good, we could not see the green behind a low hump. I thought that I had hit it through but one of my playing partners found the ball in the hole - celebrations all round.
I hit a 9 iron down wind and the ball had 2 bounces and then dropped in the hole.
