Playing in my first competition of the season, possibly the worst I've played this year. I hit a lovely tee shot off the 13th and watched it trickle in. That's golf😂

Hole was playing 164yards hit a nice easy 7 iron ball went straight down the pin the next thing I hear is another member shouting its in the hole.

Scored my first Hole in One with my go to club, 7 Wood which was witnessed by my regular Sunday partner, Tony

7 Iron, landed right of the hole and hopped left and tricked in, went on to win the Competition too

I was in the usual Saturday club competition, singles stableford, playing with 3 other members. On the third hole, I took an 8 iron for the 138 yd par3 . The ball went straight for the flag and landed on the back edge of the hole and dropped into the hole! There was a spotter who saw it at close range. I was in disbelief at first and had to ask for confirmation and jumped for joy!! Finally after 20 yrs of playing golf , I have achieved a hole in one !!

I shot a Hole-In-One today! On Saturday 29 May 2021, during Newcastle Breweries Cup at Newcastle United Golf Club, I shot an HIO on hole 15 (back tee, white, 133 yard, Ping S57 8-Iron, Titliest Prov 1 ball #3). This is my 5th HIO in my golf life and my 1st in the UK. The other 4 HIOs are: 1st at Clovelly Golf Club, NL, Canada in 2005; 2nd at Bi-an-qin-tan (彼岸青滩) Golf Club, Bejing, China in 2008; 3rd at Kaijie (凯捷) Golf Club, Rongcheng, Shandong, China, during club championship in 2010; and the 4th at Mowbray Golf Club, Tasmania, Australia in Nov 2018. Thes 5 HIOs were hit in 4 countries: Canada, China, Australia and the UK...

A great par three played across a waste area. 5 wood pitched the green and rolled into the hole.
