I hit a solid 4 iron into a headwind, it looked good all the way. We initially thought it had rolled off the back. When we couldn’t find it I looked in the hole and that’s when I found out I’d aced it !
My first hole-in-one. Only took 50 years!! Nearly got another on the same day.
Fantastic day, great game and even won the competition.
Was having a bad round till the 16th. Then a miracle happened!

I pitched on the green, I drew it in from left to right over the bunker pitched on the green and trickled into the hole. Celebrate for about 10 seconds then realised it would cost me a bottle of Brandy.

Playing in the Wednesday competition as part of a fourball I managed to achieve a hole-in-one.

Playing the Wednesday Medal with my fiancées dad. 9iron into a slight wind. Started left of the pin and gently faded. 1bounce and rolled right in. Delighted!!! Shock it went in and still buzzing about it.
After not being able to play golf for such a long time due to covid, I was delighted to get a hole in one.

Scratch championship, holding a lead with 7 holes to go and steps up, PW, one bounce and drops in to the hole, wins by 6 and a great day.

My tee shot disappeared into the setting sun, a puff of dust rose from the green in the distance when it landed followed shortly after by loud cheers from the group teeing off from the 17th, a truly magical moment to remember!
Took place on our par 3 7th hole. I was in last group of 4 playing in our weekly seniors Rollup event-a Stableford qualifier. As I had a shot on this hole I scored 5 points ! Great result. Drinks all round when we got in - lots of people stayed around to congratulate me!
