Down hill par 3 into wind, guarded by water. Toed my 8 iron short right, took a very lucky bounce and veered on line. hit the fringe and I saw it going in from about 10 feet away.

First hole in 1, beautiful 9 iron.

lucky little 8 iron

hit a rescue 4 into front of green and rolled perfectly into the hole for my 4th hole in one

delighted with my 1st ever hole in one at my home course

pitching wedge

5 wood into strong wind!

I scored my hole in one on hole 11 whilst playing in the 2nd round of the Bramshott Cup. The front Pin was about 100 yds and I used my 50 degree gap wedge

hit a seven iron just to the right of the green bounced off the ridge onto the green and rolled in

Hole in one at Yelverton GC, on the 12 hole which is a 180 yard par 3. I hit an 8 iron centre of the green and the wind brought it in on the flag,

First hole in one, 8 iron on a tricky uphill par 3.

😃

148 yard par 3. 8 iron club selection

A steady 5 iron swing had seen the ball leave the centre of the club face, and directly for the pin. There wasn’t much wind and the weather was beautiful, the sun was shining as the ball took one bounce on the centre of the thin fairway just short of the green and the second bounce laid it nicely on the green as it just trickled up to the flag and popped in the hole. As soon as the ball left the tee, it was straight on the money, 2 bounces and straight into the hole. it couldn’t of been any cleaner.

I took a Cobra fairway wood, 3/4 and drove the ball over a pond, between two bunkers on to a elevated green, and straight into the hole, which was halfway up the green!

Short but tricky par 3

1st hole in 1

Spoke to one of our other members before I went out to play and he was boasting that he hit the pin at the 12th and the ball finished an inch from the hole, beat that he said, well I did. 7 iron straight in the hole. Will be nice to see him this Saturday.

Par 4 uphill, not having a great round, needed to shoot level par back 9 to stay in competition reckoning, hit a nice little high fade driver. a player from adjacent green came across and celebrated as we cannot see green. Buzzing

Hole in 1 at the 16th on Peterhead’s Old Course on 26/06/21. Distance was 166 yds in to the wind - 5 iron was the club of choice. Playing partners were Stuart Leggat, Chris Thomson and Allan Geddes - Stuart called it from the tee although none of us seen it drop in the cup due to flag location.

first ever medal and I managed to hit the ultimate shot on the second hole

I hit a 5 iron into a slight breeze I thought my ball was over the back as I approached the middle of the green I seen the top of my ball in the hole amazing feeling

playing slightly into a wind, hit a nice 9 iron over the flag, pitched 6 foot over and span back into the hole.
