I got a hole in one during first round of club championship

struck the ball with a wedge I thought it had rolled off the back of the green but it had pitched 3 inches from the pin and holed

The weather conditions were perfect and I played a 9 iron to a short par 3. I knew it was close but the view of the green is obscured so didn’t realise it was in until we approached the green!

day 1 of club championship, hole 4 at 185 yards. Ranked the hardest hole in the course, I hit a 4 iron!

1st hole in 1 in year of 60th birthday

Wedge - one bonce and in off pin

I played a Galloway rescue club on to an elevated green. I saw the ball bounce above the bunker and roll on to the green. When I arrived at the green I could not my ball until one of my plsaying partners spotted it in the hole.

Playing in SCT competition, average conditions - one bounce and in it went!

House

Didn't have a good front 9 and said to myself " let's play better on the back 9". It was a bit windy so I took a 3 iron, gripped down the club and put my best swing of the day on it. The ball covered the flag all the way, landed a few yards short and rolled smoothly in to the hole. I let out a roar of joy, probably disturbing other players nearby,. My first hole in one at St Nicholas and only my second one ever.

It was a lovely calm morning when we reached the 15th hole, the flag was at the front of the green scoped at 144 yards I hit a 7 iron to the green. it was a high flight and came down softly it bounced once, twice and then the ball disappeared, there was a delayed reaction as I waited for the ball to reappear behind the hole, but after a second or two I realised it was in the hole and it was a hole one.

Up hill sloping par three and took a driver off the tee
