From tee we thought it was hidden by flag stick. As we got nearer we realised it was in hole.
To start captains day with a hole in one on the 1st tee was a dream and to win Captains day after the weekend was my best golfing achievement to date.
7 iron, 2 bounces then straight into the hole.
when I hit the tee shot I thought I may have had a good chance of putting to win some money in the club 2’s competition. the ball landed on the green about 4 yards from the pin and then to my amazement trickled into the hole. it was a special moment on my 34th wedding anniversary.
Played a 7 iron. Good shot, saw it go close but not sure if it went in. playing with Les Gwynne and John James

1st hole in one !
Using a 19 degree hybrid into a slight headwind I hit a slight draw pitching 12ft short of the pin. The ball rolled up the green and straight into the hole.
my first ever hole in one after 16 years
I hit a 9 iron perfectly and luckily holed it
pin in the middle of the green 5 iron high draw 1 bounce just short of the green then rolled on the hole
During Captains Day at Holyhead Golf Club, on the 6th hole I hit a Pro V1 with 7 Iron, it pitched 2 foot from the pin and went straight in!

short par 3 over a lake becomes hard with wind in your face I use a 8 iron bounce just over the lake and rolled into the hole

qualifying round. ball was tracking all the way and didn’t see it go in. walked up and it was in the hole
The usual rubbish round in my bag that day i arrive at the 16th tee. 149 yards to the hole and a tee box elevated of about 50 feet. decide to go for a 9 iron hoping even if short to roll into the green. flag is short land about 2 feet from the flag and the ball roll gently into the cup!
I hit a 7iron with a little draw, the ball pitched about a yard from the hole, took 2 bounces and then fell into the hole. This was my first hole in one!
2nd hole in 1 in 3 months! Pitching wedge about 8 foot short, checked and rolled straight in.
