134 yard, par 3. Pin was front left on the green. I hit a 9 iron slightly left of the pin. Faded back, landed front left of the green, spun right and rolled in to the hole. We saw and heard it go in from the tee.

Played in Thursday Stableford at Hexham at the par 3 16th, partnered with Steven Robinson. I hit 9 iron & bounced straight into the hole. Much to our surprise!

A left to right 2 club helping wind so hit a sweet 7 iron which landed soft onto the green, checked and rolled down to the hole and dropped in.

First hole in one - been trying for about 45 years!

I was playing in the Captains day, and we were playing the beat the pro hole on the 1st hole, so I did.

With us playing off the back tees and into a breeze I just happy to have a hit a good enough shot with a 5 wood to get on the green. Having regularly been within an inch of the hole I had almost given up getting another hole in one. I had one a few years ago in casual play.

Final round of the club championship and hit an 8 iron which looked good. Did not see it roll in and thought it had maybe gone off the back when I got to the green as I'd only taken a putter with me. Great to find it sitting in the bottom of the cup and if I am honest it's the first time I have hit that green in bloody ages!

hole in one at the 15th

This was my 2nd hole in one but was a lot more special as I am currently vice captain at Stone and it was Captains Day , also won nearest the pin with it Great day all round 😀

Was having a good day on one of usual Clubnites, with abit of wind against and an uphill, I chose a 9 iron and fired the short which took a baby draw and with an excellent kick, an ace was recorded, I later rang the bell at the clubhouse as members joined me over a drink in celebration.

I hit my drive on the 17th hole and knew that it was a good shot as I seen it bounce on the green but was unsure of where the ball had finished and as i got to the green seeing where the ball had pitched I knew that it couldn’t have rolled off the back of the green, I then decided to look in the hole just incase it had went in and unknown to me my ball was in the bottom of the hole! I didn’t know what to do as pure euthoria kicked in 🏌🏿‍♂️
