3 wood, 199 yards to the pin. flag position centre. Wind left to right, hit a beauty straight at the flag, lost sight of the ball once it landed however it looked a excellent tee shot. walked up to the hole couldn’t see it anywhere thought it had gone over the back of the green, nothing looked in the hole there it was. a hole in one
I was having a terrible round, got to the 16th, took out my Gap Wedge and thought what’s the worst that can happen! Hit a beauty, one bounce then in the hole!
utility club 1 bounce and dropped in
A nice day , white flag at the back of the green. I hit a crisp 8iron on to the green. It looked very good. One of my playing partners thought it had gone in but I darent believe it and convinced myself it had gone past the hole and off the green. Another playing partner got to the hole before me and was pointing into it and there was my ball. I had had a lucky hole in one as a junior but this felt very special. Absolutely thrilled.
