6 iron up the hill.. can’t see the green from the tee!

Took up golf when I retired 8 years ago. I only started to play competitive golf over the past 3 years

playing Singles Turkey Competition

Hole in one at 7th hole Swailend End course, Newmachar golf club, achieved using 7-iron

Hit a 5 iron into a back pin, caught the slope and rolled in for an ace !

Rescue club, best I've ever struck it. Hit front of green and ran up to hole back left. Hoorah!

can’t believe I achieved a hole in one

Very windy day blowing across the hole right to left. Went with a 9 iron allowing for the wind to blow it back onto the green from the right. Struck the ball really well and it glided onto the green and rolled down into the cup.

Hole in one with a lucky bounce

A 7 iron into wind, cracking drive which I lost sight of in the leaves, so unfortunately didn’t see the ball go in the hole. I knew it was good and finally found he ball in the hole

9 iron, middle of green, spun back to pin at front of green and in off partners ball

Played a fade with a 6 iron on the second hole and watched it drop. it truly was a thing of beauty, haha.

I was playing in a medal, I was playing well until I got to the eighth hole, it was a blind shot up a hill and I only realised when I got to the top of the hill I have never been more excited in my life. I am twelve and I’ve only been golfing for 8 months.

Hit tee shot on right line, it seem to go behind a raised bit of grass so assumed short, as it is on a slope, I looked back towards the green after vacating the tee box and saw my ball slowing rolling on the green towards the flag and then dropped into the hole. The others i was playing did not see d thought I was kidding until we reached the hole to find my ball in the hole! Hole in One!

well struck PW which pitched once and went in! 😁

I holed out with a 6 iron on the 15th at Brancepeth Castle in the final of the Jack Jill tournament

hit a perfect strike, the ball flew the pin spin back 5 feet into the hole.

It’s been quite a journey, took up golf six months ago. Reduced my handicap by 11 and now achieved a Hole in One. Fabulous.

playing 50 years first ever hole in one.

faded a 6 iron onto the green and it ran straight at the pin. Initially thought it deflected off the green but it had dropped in the hole. First ever hole in one aged 50

I used a 7 iron and the ball landed bounced once and rolled into the cup

I thought I’d lost the ball which was only found when my partner completed her hole and found my ball in the hole.
