I hit a 6 iron which felt great straight away, it looked right on line but vanished from sight at the green. I thought it must have gone over but after hunting around for it we eventually found it in the hole, it had gone straight in, with a quarter ball graze on the inside of the hole! My first and a great feeling.
Dreaming of a hole in one and making real is an amazing feeling that I will treasure always.
slam dunk
thank you
excellent feeling

Ladies 18 Hole January Stableford
Great start to the New Year.
playing on a Sunday morning as we usually did in the Sunday stableford at Wellow starting on embley started off with a par on the first followed by a birdie on the par 5 next to step on to the tee of the 3rd hole playing 198 yards uphill you can see the top of the pin but you can’t see the green I hit a decent shot straight at the pin again have done it many a time but you just never know where I could finish up there to look around the green short long in the bunker in the sprinkler head for my playing partner to look in the hole then shout that it went in! I was in complete disbelief as he is abit of a joker but there is was one the bottom of the hole! to then try and steady myself down for the next hole was difficult but managed to finish the round 2 under gross and that has now put me down to 0.7 so it helped to nearly get down to scratch!
I hit a 6 iron for a Hole in One. It was a pairs match play competition organised by the club, so I could not enter it on How did I do. I believe it does not qualify for a watch. it is my second hole in one. my first was 35 years ago.
7th Hole, 7 iron at 152 yards
Great feeling to find ball in hole on a blind pin position.
Good
full 52 gap wedge straight in the hole
felt like floating on air
the flat
perfectly struck 4 hybrid into the strong breeze. landed 6ft right of pin rolled left into the hole.First one after waiting 40 years.
Hit my 7 iron ball pitched past flag and rolled back into hole cheers all round …..
I was playing in a Seniors competition and not playing that well on the day. My two playing partners played before me on the 17th both hitting the green and within ten feet of the hole. I stepped up and hit a clean shot straight at the hole, I saw it pitch on the green in front of the hole and role on. I could not see my ball from the tee so was expecting it to be in a hollow green side. As I approached the hole I still could not see my ball so I stopped and asked one of my playing partners to check the hole which they did. I could tell by the grin on both Barry and Keith’s face it was in the hole!
it was a wet course could not see bottom of flag as green slopes away front to back I took out my driver as it was in to wind hit a straight drive on line with the flag it pitched on the front of the green I thought I heard it hit the flag stick we walked up to the green could not see my ball looked at the back of the green still could not see it so looked in the hole which was full of water so I pulled up the flag stick on out popped my ball
