Having only picked up a golf club for the first time 2 years ago, it’s such a privilege to experience the feeling of getting a hole in one. Great hole to do it on with the railway line running up the right hand side of the hole and bunkers down the left. As soon as it left the tee I knew it was good but couldn’t work out if it was in or not until I was about 40 yards away. Once I’d seen it was in the hole I was over the moon and felt like a child again. Definitely an amazing feeling. Hopefully more to come.

First competition hole in one after 27 years golf.

hole in one!

Smashed it

I hit an 8 iron - the shot went straight and landed at the front of the green and rolled into the hole. My two playing partners shouted 'you've got a hole in one' but I would only believe it when I walked up to the green and saw my ball in the hole

First ever hole in one. Over the moon !

8 iron. couple of bounces and in the hole

Five Wood. Hole in 1

Weekly Seniors Thursday morning round. I was playing with Bob Stark, Graham Christie & Bruce Fraser. At the 4th, Bruce had scored a birdie and it therefore his honour at the 5th. However he wanted to change his club, so I went first. Hit the ball & three of us watched it bounce a few times at the front of the green & then fortunately rolled into the hole. Bruce was still changing his club and missed it. No celebrations as such, no handshakes, hugging or otherwise with coronavirus restrictions.

6 iron landed 10 feet short of hole and rolled in

playing in an open with my Dad, hit a soft wedge beyond the hole and spun back. Knew it was close but didn’t think it was in, luckily it was.

7 Iron to blind pin

playing in a weekday comp on a beautiful autumn day in the West Midlands. came to the 6th and hit a nice 9 iron slightly up hill to a raised green. Saw it bounce and got swallowed up by the hole. Fantastic.

First ever hole in one with a Taylormade R Bladez 8 iron and a Titleist AVX No 3

A 8 iron into a back right pin. It went over the pin and spun back into the hole.

Hole In One

I hit 5 iron with a slight fade because of the wind to the pin at the front of the green.

As I stood on the 6th tee, with a 6 iron in my hand, I wasn’t feeling overly confident due to a poor start to my round. As I struck the shot, it felt good straight away and I looked at the flag to see the ball was on line. As I watched the ball get closer to the green, I was beginning to think of a makeable putt for a nice 2. As it landed on the green, I was able to see it get closer and closer to the hole and I began to hope it didn’t run too far beyond the pin. Then, to my utter disbelief, the ball vanished and I couldn’t contain myself as I jumped into the air amongst the applause from the rest of my group. I smiled all the way from tee to green, as there is no better feeling in golf than picking your ball out of the hole after a hole in one.

Playing in the Club Championship I managed to hole my wedge shot for a Hole in One, this is now my 4th hole in one over my golfing year. I played the shot lower as it was into a slight breeze, this was just perfect as it landed a foot past the hole and gently spun back into the cup.

I was playing in the Walsham Cup competition on a very windy day. Tee’d up on the 8th white tee, hit a 3 wood lovely. I watched it hit the green, bounced twice and rolled up into the hole.

Hit over water just past the flag and backspin took it straight back into the hole. Perfect!

I was delighted to make my first hole in one. I hit 6 iron, the ball landed just before the green, bounced onto the green and rolled up to the flag before disappearing into the hole!

Hit a 5 iron bit of a cross wind lander on the green bounce once rolled about 10 foot in the hole happy days

6 iron back into a breeze. Straight into the sun so didn't see it at all. Playing partner thought mught be over green. Walk down, can't find it, lots of leafs on the green, wind blows through and there it was. Pitch mark an inch behind.
