Hit a 7 iron with wind behind
First singles competition after lockdown number 3. Not playing very well. Downwind par 4, hit on a perfect line with slight fade. Got down to the green, looked for it over the back and in the rough. My playing partner found in the hole for a 1 on a par 4.
Second round at the club as a member. Smooth, full pw from right hand tee box. Hit my natural baby draw. Moved maybe 2m in the air. Hit a very pure shot. One bounce and slammed in the hole!

My first hole in one, played a pitching wedge from 122 yards, ball flew straight at the hole and dropped into the cup without bouncing. I couldn’t see it going in as the green is slightly elevated but I did hear a ‘ping’ as it hit the bottom of the flag!
Gap wedge hit.

As i took my tee shot at par 3 6th i just new i was going to be short as i looked away in disgust as the ball was still in the air. only to see my playing partners going crazy as the ball had landed on top of a mound next to the front left bunker The ball took a kick forward and fell into the cup In my 12 years of golf i still haven't seen a hole in one
Hole 3 was playing 136 yards downwind. Club I used was a Gap Wedge.
The par 3 was 164 yards uphill into wind. Ping i200 7 iron using a Titleist pro V1 golf ball
a nice punched 3 iron up the left hand side that rolled from right to left in to the hole
struck a nice hibrid shot after a particularly poor round. was looking g for ball behind the green .but there it was I the hole. I didn't really know what to do celebration wise .no running around whooping .having 2 ex club captains with me was nice

it is my 4th ace all together and my second on this hole. all my holes in one have happened on a hole with a number 3 (3rd hole Brechin, 3rd hole Carnoustie Burnside, 2 x 13th Carnoustie Championship)
