mid week medal playing rufford park golf club 17 hole 140 yards downhill over water I hit a 3 quarter wedge it pitched on the green 1 bounce checked nd released towards hole and in it went it felt exactly like the shot I imagined in my head before I played it

I hit a nice easy 8 iron to a pin that was at the back left of the green. the ball landed on front left of the green, took one bounce and rolled straight at the flag.

I was playing in the Seniors April medal at the 194 yard par 3 sixth tee , as the shot was across water and a slight wind in to my face I used my driver,we watched the ball pitch onto the green and run up to the hole and dropped I couldn't believe it , i was over the moon
playing at the senior medal at Kintore on my 65th Birthday. Reached the 17th after not having played that great. chose a 9 iron for the conditions, hit it sweet, I thought it was short but it rolled onto the green and into the hole.
Unexpected Hole in 1 with an 8 iron.
The hole is based on a hill, so once my friend I got to the green , it was a major surprise to get my 3rd hole in one in my lifetime.

having hit what I consider a good shot the ball was not on the green, l started to look around for the ball, one of my playing partners called out it's in the hole
my first took 25 years, 2nd another 25 then two more in a couple of years
