Down hill par 3.. 160 yards hit 8 iron, 1 hope and spun into the hole.

whilst playing in the junior medal competition I shot a hole in one on the 14th hole. as you cannot see the pin from the tee it was a great achievement when I got to the green to see my first ever hole in one.

After starting bogey bogey par I stood on the par 3 4 th hole with a 7 iron in my hand I hit my usual high draw shot into the green which was all over the hole from when it left the club one bounce and rolled into the hole

It was fantastic , I used my 4 hybrid, it was playing 185 yards into the wind , I hit it really sweet and the ball landed just left of the pin and rolled round into the hole !! Brilliant !!

I was playing in the Captain’s Prize Bogey Competition with two members Colin and Rab from Larkhall. Such is the attraction of Powfoot that these guys travel down from Hamilton near Glasgow regularly to play at Powfoot. My round started with two sixes, but got better as the holes progressed. When I Tee’d off from the par3 7th my shot looked good but I could not see where the ball finished. As I approached the green another member playing off the 8th tee waved at me and said “Jamie its in the hole, I watched it land and roll right in the hole”. My first thought was right lets get a picture and this is when it gets spooky ! The ace happened on the 22nd of May, my house number is 22, my phone number is 22##, I have twin daughters Ashley and Colette born on the 2nd Oct (02:10) and my 3 camera pictures were all time stamped at 10:22 – so maybe it was just fate ! I’ve been playing golf since I was 11 and it’s great to finally join the special Hole in one club. The "TaylorMade 1" ! ball I used has been removed from my playing collection and together with the Boss watch will give me a golfing memory to treasure.
