128 yard par 3 12th at Sleaford. Over the trees. Pitching wedge. Landed front edge and ran up and into the cup.

from where we tee off the flag is unsighted so I was unaware of my hole in one until we reached the green

4 Hybrid for uphill shot into slight breeze Hole can’t be seen from tee so delighted to find ball in the hole

My first ever hole in 1 after playing golf for over 50 years !!

hole in one

Tricky par 3

I stepped up onto the tee the wind was blowing into my face, so I decided to take a 8 iron and hit it gently. At first I thought it was going to be short and go into the water but instead it bounced onto the green and began rolling to the left. Then the ball just disappeared I couldn’t except that it had gone in and then as I got closer I realised it had.

Weather warm, conditions dry, hence a eight iron to land short and roll onto the green. Aimed between the two bunkers , struck the ball , landed short, slow to roll onto the green, however when it did rolled into the hole. ,

Whilst playing Trump Dubai I had a hole in one on the 17th hole par 3. Playing 144 yards I hit a 9-iron with a baby draw to 4 feet, it took one bounce and rolled up in to the up nicely. Made even more special as the 8 friends I was playing with witness it! #Scenes

First One!

Perfect

lucky bounce off the bank into the hole 👍🏻

Well done GAVIN

Not only a hole in one, but 48 Stableford points scored

was a very windy morning and i usually hit an 8 iron so change too a 7 iron too keep it low below the trees and pitched it perfect over the left hand bunker and landed on the green and rolled in perfectly too give me my first ever hole in ONE

hit a good 7 iron shirt of the green, skipped over the bunker. thought it ran big but checked the hole and there it was.

I hit a 5 iron onto the green and it tracked about 10 foot right into the hole. Happy Days.

absolutely brilliant day and my first ever hole in one

.

I was playing with fellow members Doug, Chris and Alastair in the club's weekly Tuesday Fiddle. Doug was my playing partner and had just birdied the 4th so I stepped up to the tee on the 5th. It was starting to rain so the others were getting on waterproofs and their umbrellas up when I hit my pitching wedge, it's 135 yards to the centre of the green but the flag was near the front. None of them saw my shot and when the pin is near the front of the green it is hidden by bunkers. They asked about the shot and I said it looked good, on line and I should be on the green. After they all teed off and we started to walk up I couldn't see my ball anywhere. As I got closer I thought it must have gone off the back of the green but when I walked up to the cup there it was!

I used a five iron, new I'd struck it well but the sun was in my eyes and I didn't see it go in. The golfers on the ninth tee did and gave a cheer. that's when I realised it had gone in.
