A father pays homage to the memory of his son with a hole-in-one

A father from Kemnay, Scotland, was given an opportunity to pay homage to his late son after achieving an ace on a hole dedicated to him.
Fred Milne, 66, who works in the oil and gas industry, scored his ace – his second in eight years – on the 185-yard, par-three 14th at Kemnay GC, which has a bench dedicated to his late son Dan, who passed away six years ago at just 23-years-old, following a car accident.
The 17-handicapper said: “Dan was a keen golfer and we played together often – since he was 10-years-old. This is a special hole for me and we always have a dram at the bench to remember him.
“With Dan in mind, I struck a perfect five-hybrid; the moment was witnessed by the group in front that we were playing through at the time – magic.”
