Playing in the midweek stableford with three of my friends,(not playing well, but enjoying the company)
I was last to tee off at the par 3, 150yrd 7th hole.
The pin was at the front of the green, a quite difficult pin to get at, to leave an uphill putt.
All of my friends were short of the green, leave quite a difficult chipshot to leave an uphill put (you don't really want to be above the pin with it being so close to the front of the green)
I envisaged dropping my ball short and running my shot onto the green leaving an uphill putt for my chance of a two.
The execution of the shot with my rescue club was as I had envisaged and most rewarding shot of the day.
